This unique showcase was brought forth by many years of playing and coaching experience at the youth, amateur, NCAA and MLB levels. We are dedicated to helping collegiate baseball players showcase their talents and to earn the right to play at the next level in their careers.

Dean Stotz - Stanford Camp Director

DEAN STOTZ

Stanford All-Star Baseball Camp Director

Dean Stotz is the Camp Director of Next Level Transfer Showcase. Dean was the top assistant coach at Stanford University for 37 years, going to 28 NCAA Regional Tournaments and 14 CWS appearances, winning 2 National Championships in 5 National Championship games. During his tenure, he recruited and developed 26 first-round picks and helped 66 players achieve their dreams of playing at the MLB level. Dean has dedicated his entire career to helping players reach their academic and baseball goals. For four decades, he has been the sole director of the prestigious Stanford University All-Star Baseball Camps. 

Joe Borchard - The Wall Baseball

The Wall Baseball

Joe Borchard played both baseball and football collegiately at Stanford University before being drafted 12th overall in the 2000 MLB Draft by the Chicago White Sox. Joe played at the MLB level for the White Sox, Seattle Mariners and Florida Marlins from 2002-2007. Borchard was inducted into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame in 2023. He is currently the Director of Hitting Initiatives at The Wall Baseball in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jeff Schaeffer played collegiately for the University of Maryland where he was an All-ACC and All-American player before being drafted in the 12th round by the Baltimore Orioles. Shaeffer played 14 years professionally, spending 5 seasons at the MLB level for the Chicago White Sox, Seattle Mariners & Oakland A’s. Jeff founded the Carolinas Baseball Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, cultivating a national network of NCAA recruiters & MLB scouts and helping 300+ players go on to play at the collegiate and professional levels.

Will Ohman - The Wall Baseball

WILL OHMAN

The Wall Baseball

Will Ohman played collegiately at Pepperdine University before being drafted in 1998 by the Chicago Cubs. He appeared in 493 games at the MLB level with the Cubs, Braves, Dodgers, Orioles, Marlins & White Sox from 2000-2012. Ohman also represented Germany in the World Baseball Classic Qualifiers in 2012 & 2016. He is currently the Director of Pitching Initiatives at The Wall Baseball in Phoenix, Arizona.
